Aaron Sturgess (Founder): I have been in the industry since 2003 and personal training since November 2006. I started in a local Lifestyles gym in my hometown from there they sent me on basic courses. I then got moved to another site for progression and to help out later on becoming the acting manager for 6 months of the Nexus gym in High Wycombe up until I left to pursue solely a personal training career. My job is my life I workout just as hard as I push my clients and am constantly updating my knowledge through trial in the gym and going on courses, just like any personal trainer should be.

I have a personal training diploma with qualifications in, Advanced resistance, Back care and core stability, Training in different environments, Nutrition and weight management, Exercise prescription for fat loss and fitness, Advanced programming for sports individuals, Advanced kinesiology and exercise movement, Fitness assessment and Business and Marketing. Using these skills learnt I try to make exercising fun and enjoyable while achieving the goals you want. All I ask in return is you put as much in as you want to get out of exercise and personal training. I am also qualified in Boxercise and MMA training, Stability ball training basic and advanced and a Bosu balance trainer.

I have an active involvement in keeping communities fit and healthy, working with councils and trying to offer great services that are great value. I work with Wycombe District council having offered Asian circuits in Castlefield community centre; I also work a lot with the South Bucks District Council previously helping decrease childhood obesity with the MEND project running in Iver and Beaconsfield for kids aged 7 to 13. Finally having achieved a highly regarded level 4 qualification with BACR (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation). I work a lot with health teams in High Wycombe Handy Cross gym and the Beacon centre in Beaconsfield, carrying out phase III and Phase IV classes to help rehabilitate individuals after cardiac event.

I am passionate about my job and always aim to help clients achieve their goals and better functionality in everyday life. I have trained a variety of clientele, from those that want simply to keep general fitness, to others who want weight loss and weight gain. Your average individuals with 9 to 5 jobs to Directors, CEO’s, sportsmen and actors. I fully understand the constraints of everyday life and schedule and training on your own can be hard. So call today to see where we can schedule in and see if personal training is right for you!!

With the growth of PT-ME I am always looking to find dedicated, highly motivated trainers to expand the PT-ME brand.

I chose Aaron to be my personal trainer because he had always been very helpful and approachable during the S W E A T sessions that the gym used to run at lunchtimes, he seemed very knowledgeable and genuinely keen to get the best out of you. Since asking him to help me I have never looked back! I am fitter than I have been since...
