PT-ME is a brand created by its founder Aaron Sturgess back in 2008. The business soon grew being based in Marlow, also covering Henley-on-Thames, High Wycombe and the rest of Buckinghamshire/Berkshire area. For the purpose of seeing a flourishing business with room to expand on starting a personal training career he felt the need to create a brand rather than operate under his personal name. From building contacts in the industry and having the right friends the PT-ME brand was born and the website launched. PT-ME prides itself in being able to deliver a quality service with up to date in depth consultations, planned sessions and progress.
Since its creation there have been sub-brands created with trainers and specialists hired to work for the PT-ME brand, these include:
- PT-ME in the Park – affordable group bootcamp training in local parks
- PT-ME and Pram – friendly, group exercise aimed at recent mothers
- PT-ME Corporate – Stress busting, team building workouts for local business
- PT-ME Beautiful – An amalgamation of mobile beauty services and personal training
- PT-ME Nutritional Healthcare – Nutritional advice and Biomeridian scanning across all our brands.

As a part of our process for personal training we start with an Initial Consultation we are so confident given the information from a series of questions we can motivate you to your end result, we also consider our assessments one of the best services provided by any trainer or gym for an initial consultation. They are individual, questions that will be asked about yourself, factors in your life that could affect progress and previous exercise, to ensure the best tailor made programme can be created. Our in depth assessments have two levels of service, they include:
Gold Level:
1. Full Cholesterol testing including – HDL, LDL, Total cholesterol, Triglycerides. (please note this requires 12 hour fasting and on testing we take a tiny ladybird size sample of blood – so if your uneasy with the sight of blod no matter how small let the trainer know on booking) Along with all the below.
Silver Level:
2. Full body compostion including – bodyfat, lean mass, RMR and lots more
3. Anatomical measurements
4. A series of fitness assessments
5. Postural analysis
6. Exercise history and lifestyle appraisal
7. Goal Setting
To ensure we have the highest standard, we constantly measure your progress and technique after the consultation. We will be constantly monitoring your progress adding new fresh exercises to take you forward, technique is a huge factor to make sure you gain the full benefit from each session so some exercises are specifically done only with us or any personal trainer for that matter, to make sure a safe effective workout. Our programming has plenty of variety and enjoyment making them tailor made ensuring we ahieve your goal. We fully believe in educating all clients in how exercises performed are beneficial, rather than just doing them and you not understanding why we have them in the programme.
